I've not used abiword-gnome but I suppouse is the one
compiled with the --enable-gnome argument.
The main difference here is that with an GNOME
enabled Abiword, you can use CUPS as your printing
management system.
It is posible to set custom printing setting without
gnome, but it will require some changes at source level
