Supernewbie question

Although I long used the tcsh version of MacOS X's beta X11 with
great enjoyment and success, I can't get applications to display on
the new bash X11 that is an elective installation for MacOS 10.4.2.
How do I call up AbiWord, which I installed through FinkCommander?

I did indeed uninstall Fink and reinstalled it in the Terminal. In
X11 I have tried typing abiword, AbiWord, abi, xabi, xabiword, and
XAbiWord without success.
