I think calling our discussion "heated" is a bit of a
mischaracterization. There was nothing heated about the discussion as
far as I was concerned at the time or that I can see looking back on it
now. I was simply voicing my opinion that ongoing support for Win9x
shouldn't hinder future development of the win32 platform.

The context it was brought up in was not glitches surviving in Abi 2.4,
but new features not being implemented because of issues getting them to
work on Win9x.
My point was simply that, in my humble and uninfluential opinion, Abi
2.4 seems feature-complete enough to adequately support the needs of
most Win9x users that they wouldn't be getting the shaft if support were
dropped for Win9x in Abi 2.6+.
Sorry if the conversation came off as a flame-fest or argument. I'm
guessing Hubert knew I wasn't trolling, so all should be good.
