question about printing books

hello. my question is hard to explain (even more for me cause i'm
not a native english speaker) but i'll try. i would like to print 38
pages (A5 format) in a book-like style. what do i mean by that? i
want to print two A5 pages perpendicularly on one A4 page, with two
staples in the middle of this A4 page. the next thing about this
method of printing is that the first A5 page is printed on the same
A4 page as the last A5 page, the second A5 page is printed on the
same A4 page as the last but one A5 page, and so on. i'm sure you've
seen many publications (usually the quite brief ones) printed this
way. how do i do that in abiword? is there any way? thank you in advance
