I just can't figure out how to get the mail to stop coming to my email box.
I followed the majordomo directions many times today, but can't get mail to
stop.
Here's what I followed many times:
Then send a message to abiword-user-request@abisource.com with the text
set nomail on YOUR_PASSWORD_HERE
or (depending on the version of Mailman)
set authenticate YOUR_PASSWORD_HERE
set delivery off
in the body of the message.
I did what I was told, substituting an appropriate password where indicated,
and tried both versions of the suggestion. Each one returned the following
from majordomo:
Command 'set' not recognized.
All other groups I joined, if memory serves me here, allowed me to chose
nondelivery via a Web interface. Perhaps that's why they worked and this
one fails.
