It has had it for months, if not longer. I tried the same in May. :-(

I'm his witness. Things do work OK, with every list I ever tried --
dozens, plural -- except this one.

Ralph, Be sure to post here if you do find a way. I tried what you did,
failed, and got dumped on for not wanting to subscribe to a very inactive
list. (It has gotten more active since. Maybe that's why you're at least
getting a serious response.)

You can probably set your mailer to delete all abiword mail on arrival,
but that's a miserable kludge. (In Pine, hit M-S-R-F, and go from there;
or if you have the right doohickey enabled, you can just call up an
abiword message, hit T, then F, and do it that way.)

Like Ralph, I follow many lists via gmane -- I repeat, dozens, plural;
only gmane afaik makes that possible -- and also have this problem only
with this one.

Something has to be wrong with this list's mailer, but what it might be or
how to fix it, alas!, is beyond me. I've never run majordomo.

Someone on one of the lists beginning with gmane.mail.majordomo would
surely know ; maybe someone here with an interest in mailers, and the
competence to read those lists, will be kind enough to go ask. Please.
