Did you install the plugins to a different directory than AbiWord
itself? All plugins load by default on startup.

Also, we don't have anything on Sourceforge anymore. Uninstall all
versions of abiword and plugins, then install the program and the
plugins fresh from www.abisource.com

Let us know if it works.
