Please disregard previous message. I have bypassed the whole Unix install in favor of "yum install abiword" due to all the annoying dependency issues. (I needed abiword to get an assignment that would not download into Open Office. -- I had to download to AbiWord, copy into gedit, and then paste into Open Office).

Still will keep working also with AbiWord.

Sincerely,

Wes Steinbrink

I am new to AbiWord. It seems like a good program.

I did the usual Unix install (tar -xzvf, ./configure, make and make install) All seemed to work well - some small error messages.

My question is why does the documentation not tell me the simplest of where the executable is supposed to be and how to start it. I have read the FAQ and the User Manual. If there is something else to read I would most appreciate it. I am running Fedora 10.0 I have looked for the executable with locate AbiWord, but there is nothing obvious.

Thanks in advance.
