Unfortunately, you have stumbled across two of AbiWord's most visible and
frustrating bugs in the same document. For the case where last paragraph
is missing, add a page break to the end of the document. (You can do this
from the Insert->Break menu.) For the tabs not lining up, you can remove
tabs in the document, and then the document will line up correctly on the
printer even though it doesn't on the screen.

Thanks for not being inflammatory. We realize we have some problems areas
that need to be fixed. Hearing which ones are causing people the most
problems really helps us focus our energy and making AbiWord a better
product.
