Do you have any plans to replicate Word's Master Document feature (or
something functionally similar)? I'm a novelist and a pretty intensive Word
user (I'm also apparently the only person in the world who actually uses
Master Documents). But I am in the process of trying to move away from
Microsoft and into the open source world. I downloaded ABI Word, and I'm
impressed (although it's obviously not something I could do my work on
right now).

Something else I meant to ask -- what was the reason for using a new file
format? And is there any utility available or in prospect for converting a
document back to Word 97 format? I know that sounds like it defeats the
purpose, but it would actually make it possible for me to begin working
with ABI Word while it doesn't yet have all the features I need. It's fine
right now -- better than Word because of its size and speed -- for simply
writing or editing a text document, which is most of what I do. But then I
have to be able to get that document back into Word and into my Master
Document so that it will be properly formatted for printout.

I wish I were a programmer and could help out on these things, but I'd like
to offer as much encouragement as I can.
