AbiWord: User's Mailing List
You can sign up for the AbiWord User's Mailing List by sending an email to abiword-user-request@abisource.com with "subscribe" in the message body.
Similary, you can unsubscribe from the AbiWord User's Mailing List by sending an email to abiword-user-request@abisource.com with "unsubscribe" in the message body.
To send a message to the list, simply write to abiword-user@abisource.com, after having subscribed. Please only send plain text emails to the list, not HTML or rich text emails.
The user's list is configured so that only members can submit messages to it. This greatly reduces the amount of spam that reaches subscribers.
We also host archives of this list.
You can use this list to:
- Post questions
- Suggest features
- Carry on nearly any discussion related to AbiWord
If you are asking for help, please include the following information:
- The operating system and version you are using eg. Debian Woody, FreeBSD 4.8, Redhat 7.3, Mac OS X, Mandrake 9.1, SuSE 8.2, Windows 98SE, etc.
- The AbiWord version number from Help - About AbiWord...
- Where you got AbiWord: SourceForge, another download site, built AbiWord yourself
